juz got back from obar n i wanna pen sumthing down to remember how i feel at this moment.

as sum of u may already know, dearie ceci has been waitressing in obar since i think april last yr... wad prompted me to work initially was really how i by-chance got called up by nana to waitress for christmas 05 n they were offering like 1.5 times e usual rate. n from then, i went in there as a causual labourer for countdown n cny, n from which e manager persuaded me to join them as a perm partimer.

i honestly haf to admit that i really hated working there initially, coz i hated the smoky environment, i dun like e drunk customers bit, i risk being stampeded over each time im there,i dun like having to push thru crowds of sweaty men, n i din think there was much to value add working there, hm,n i dun really need the pay that desperately.

but i hung on... solely coz the manager is really nice n i din know how to tell her i dun like working there.

actually, im pretty glad i did...
coz i made sum really valuable friens there...
i juz wanna say, thankyou for takin such good care of me while im there, for making me feel part of the family,for all the lil antics that cheered me up so much at work-i dun think i'll forget how my colleagues volunteer to help me push thru e sweaty ppl, pretend to be my bf when there r irritating customers, all those "pian tips" tactics...

n it also taught me abt humility and perserverence i told myself, hey, if u can go thru this, u can conquer bigger things. *see, i m this really spoilt girl whose neva had to wash ashtrays, clean tables, touch dirty glasses blah, so having to do all that is quite an accomplishment for me*


i think tonite was one of e last few times im gonna be working there...
will miss such times.
